When you go through your life, there are certain events that no matter how small or insignificant they might seem can change your life entirely, from skipping a job interview to saying yes to go on a date with someone. In those moments, you might have made a choice that effects your life for years to come.
Along the way, you’ll undoubtedly encounter someone who blows your mind. Perfect for you on some many levels, its almost sick. The kind of person whom can not only be the perfect friend, but you can share your soul with as well, even if you aren’t dating that person. When you encounter that person or persons, you can’t sit around waiting for something to happen. You have to sieze that moment and make it memorable; make it special; — make it yours.
A long time ago, I met someone whom I will love forever. We never dated. We probably never will. I kissed her but once, and the universe stopped for that instant. I never told her I loved her. Never told her that I didnt want to be without her. I cried when she left that night, somehow knowing I might never have that opportunity again.
That night changed my life. It changed my outlook, my thoughts, my self-being. I swore to never let that happen again. So, I sit here now, and pass on to each of you a hard lesson to learn, in hopes that I might spare each of you a little pain.
Those moments are few and far between. The people that make up those moments are even rarer. Take the time to tell them what they mean to you. Tell them how special they are to you. Because if you don’t, one day you may sit, and regret never making that happen.
