James Lipton always asked these 10 questions on his show for the actors to answer. I thought it would provide some incite to answer them and share with everyone.

1. What is your favorite word? evolve – to me, it just means progress, not in a biblical or Darwin sense, but that every change we make in ourselves and our lives, even if it’s wrong, leads us to learn something new.

2. What is your least favorite word? talent – I hear that word a lot ‘you have a talent for writing’, ‘you have a talent for story telling’, ‘talent for helping people’ – No, I don’t and it is insulting. I spent years perfecting my ability to write (now almost 19 years, started writing in December of 1990) I started story telling, public speaking in 1995. I’ve spent years learning the ways to affect emotions, minds, and lifestyles with my speech and words.

3. What turns you on creatively, spiritually or emotionally? uniqueness & openness – Don’t let the world shape you. Be yourself. Go out and shape the world. You’ll have my attention. I also like a nice ass, smile, and eyes.

4. What turns you off? prejudice – and not just ethnically. Any time judgments happen based on a false or preconceived idea, it just furthers the narrow mentality I have fought my whole life to eliminate.

5. What is your favorite curse word? fuck – It’s like the word ‘dude.’ It has multiple uses. sadness, anger, sexuality, surprise. noun, adjective, verb.

6. What sound or noise do you love? laughter – infectious, unbridled real. The kind that warms your heart and soul.

7. What sound or noise do you hate? An unanswered ringing cell phone. It’s annoying and inconsiderate. Mute it, answer it, or turn it down.

8. What profession other than your own would you like to attempt? motivational speaker – I’d love to share myself and what I know with more people; Tell stories to make people smile, think, laugh, cry, and grow.

9. What profession would you not like to do? Accountant – I’m a social creature.

10. If Heaven exists, what would you like to hear God say when you arrive at the Pearly Gates? “Took you long enough. Did you learn everything that you wanted to or would you like to chill and talk a while?”
